How can the environment be changed in order that western society can be pulled back from continuing to degenerate?

1.   Society has moved into a direction that is not good for people of the Western countries and other countries because they follow the Western countries.
2.   This move is Society has been due to specific decisions and influences since World War 2.
3.   Moves to contain things like crime, delinquency, drink, drugs, violence, dis-honesty, lack of ethics, overwork, ......      have not been successful because they do not tackle the root cause of the problems but are palliative in trying to make life better despite them.
4.   By applying the Bible (particularly the 10 Commandments) to today's life principles. With this at the root of Societies laws and principles of life the situation can be turned round.
5.   This does not mean that everyone will become a believing Christian. But many of other faiths or no faith will accept the principles set out in the Bible.
6.   It means that Society's leaders, the media, psychologists, social scientists, MPs and other politicians, the police, the Judiciary, Stock Exchange, and lots more will examine the principles of behaviour as set out in the Bible and will also assess how they were applied in past years, and then modify the law and procedures that Society adopts.
7.   We would then expect to see a gradual falling in crime and delinquency and violence as schools teach proper standards of behaviour, falling divorce rate, falling illegitimate births. falling child abuse and child neglect, fall in overwork.  In fact a fall in all the bad things in society.
8.   Each generation is born new and is not characteristic of anything until the environment conditions it. At birth each generation is the same. Therefore it is possible to change the characteristics of the next generation by changing the environment.  Hence it may take 3 generations to reverse Society's problems.  Each generation is influenced by Parents, Family, Friends, Clubs, Churches, Media, School, College, University.  And when things go wrong the Police, Social Services, Probation Service.  All of these would need to modify their teaching and handling of young people.
9.  So far in this write up I have not dealt with many other matters that need consideration.  For instance:  Teaching sex in schools, Royalty and it's essential role in the Commonwealth, The handling of Commonwealth countries with the demise of the British Empire, the whole unfortunate world of Political Correctness and feminism.  These will have a direct bearing on the future.
10. Here is a shortened modern form of the 10 commandments:  Abridged from the NIV translation of the Bible.
